The Council at its Meeting on Monday, 29 May 2006 established a Committee, under Section 56 of the Qualifications Act, consisting of the Chief Executive, Secretary of the Council and one other independent member and delegating to it the functions detailed hereunder. The Committee's Terms of Reference are as follows:
Functions
(a) The approval of postgraduate applications for registration in the current academic year,
(b) The making of awards,
(c) Publication of documents,
(d) Validation of courses and related matters
(e) Such and any other matters as may require urgent decision by the Council.
