The Higher Education and Training Awards Council, at its meeting on 27 April 2009, adopted Assessment and Standards  - to be implemented by institutions in the 2009/2010 academic year where feasible and implemented by all in the 2010/2011 academic year.

The Marks and Standards (Amended 2007) document incorporates changes adopted by Council for two award classification thresholds, effective from September 2005 intake. Marks and Standards is rescinded with full effect for the 2010/2011 academic year.
