FORMAT
The Conference will combine plenary sessions, theme discussion groups and parallel paper sessions.  Participants will be encouraged to engage in formal and informal discussion of the main issues addressed in the Conference.
Pre-conference workshops will be offered in two streams, one dealing with the fundamentals of QA in higher education and the other on advanced topics.  The former will be aimed at organisations or individuals who are relatively new to the process of evaluation and the focus will be on the QA agencies, but will also be of interest to the institutions about to undergo assessment.  The latter is designed for those with greater experience of evaluation.

The Conference brings together national and institutional decision makers, experts in Quality Assurance procedures and practitioners from Quality Assurance agencies, higher education institutions, government agencies and other organisations.
Its general aim is to promote discussion and exchange of views and experiences related to quality assurance in the national, regional and international contexts.
